Designer and Illustrator of diverse subject material.

I design various solutions in a style that combines an illustrative and graphical edge.

My earliest memories of drawing and writing of are when I received a 'Mr Men' writing set for my 2nd birthday. Apparently I drew, before I walked and wrote pages of poems and stories for my teachers. These teachers embraced and encouraged my creativity. I have written two children's books, both young children's picture books. I have illustrated one and still developing the other. In addition to exhibiting my work and working on personal projects, I also work part time in a FE college,  offering support and inspiration to others across a range of subjects.

I embarked on an Access course to Art, Design, Media and Photography at the University of Portsmouth. I received a merit and was able to obtain a place on the BA (Hons) Illustration course, also at Portsmouth. I graduated in 2009 with a 2:1

Inspired by nature, architecture and the urban environment, I document my findings photographically. These findings nearly always, filter into my final works. Particular area of interest, currently, has been producing striking illustrative and fine art images utlilizing, various mediums, colour and 'objects of beauty'.

I' m said to be a bit bonkers, slightly eccentric but able to bring a sense of humour and fun, 'when appropriate', of course. Eventually I hope to display my 'works of art' in areas where you might not expect to see them ....
